Frequently Asked Questions

Is gratuity included in the price of the service?

Gratuity is NOT included. 20 – 25% is the standard for tipping in the spa industry, but consider your tip as what you would comfortably tip your server. Remember, tipping is not mandatory and is a reflection of your gratitude for the service you receive. No pressure, no judgement, and all gratitude.

Why do I have to leave a credit card on file?

Your card will not be charged until your appointment time.
However, cancellations within a 12 hour period are subject to be charged. And NO SHOWS will be charged 100% of service cost. We take your time very seriously, and we ask that you take our staff’s time seriously too.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel a service within 12 hours of your scheduled appointment, we may apply a 50% charge for the scheduled service. No call, no show appointments WILL be charged 100% full price of the scheduled service.

Where can I park?

There is a parking lot right behind the building. You might also find a space along Hosea L. Williams Dr. or in one of the six spaces between Hosea and the parking lot. All of which is free of charge!

What kind of atmosphere is the spa?

We like to look at it like your neighborhood spa. We are welcoming to all who come through our door! The spa has a boutique feel offering a range of services from holistic therapies to medi-spa services plus manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials in between.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes! Here’s the link to purchase one.

Do you give discounts on services?

Absolutely!
We have memberships for the frequent spa goer. As well as packages for those who just like to get away occasionally.

What kind of pressure should I tell my massage therapist I like?

This is a conversation best had with your therapist, but think of it like this..
If you want something more relaxing, a softer pressure is more ideal.
If you want to break up knots in your body, you might prefer a firmer pressure.
If you like a firmer pressure on your back, but a lighter pressure on your neck, let your therapist know.

Do some spa services hurt?

Pain is relative and some feel more pain than others. Discomfort is probably a better word to describe some of what might be felt in a service. Please refrain from taking aspirin, drinking, alcohol, or using Rentin A before your services.

Microblading – The average consensus for pain levels is 2 out of 10. Although microblading is bearable, we do prep our client’s brows with topical numbing cream throughout the process to dull the discomfort.

Microneedling – A topical anesthetic is given to clients before the treatment begins. Many people describe the discomfort is a tolerable stinging sensation

Waxing – A quick pull of a wax strip will create an instant shock that disappears in seconds. If you are new to waxing, there may be tenderness afterward for about a day.

Extractions – During your facial, you will most likely receive extractions. These feel like little pinches mostly, but you might also feel a sensation of pressure releasing

Massage – Most deep tissue massages will stir up sensations of discomfort. This is the bound tissue breaking up. You also might feel some soreness the next day. Drink plenty of water and take a salt bath if you can.

If there is a level of pain that you are not comfortable with. Please let your technician know.

Can I return a product if it doesn’t work for me?

Yes, we are happy to take back any products that do not work for you. We will exchange it for something better, or with a receipt within 30 days, we are happy to give you a full refund.
